The ten commandments of typography is a really interesting book that I really enjoyed reading through.

I am not going to be posting up the 10 commandments because even though that is what the book is about, I feel that the design of the text on the pages is more important than the commandments. And you can always find the 10 commandments on other blogs on the web.
The Ten Commandments of Typography / Type Heresy: Breaking the Ten Commandments of Typography is by Paul Felton. The book itself is quite short (as there are only 10 commandments) but the designs on each page are really interesting.
I definitely recommend buying this book, I do feel this book is really unique and unlike any other typography book I have read. As once you finish reading about the commandments you must not break, you turn the book and read it again starting from that back, and you read about breaking the rules.
And again each page is really well designed and you can tell that a lot of thought has gone into the designing of the book.I will also just mention that the book itself is a hardback book which looks like a bible, and I think the whole idea of the book is really imaginative.
I wouldn't say this book is about learning, as if you know anything about typography you will already know about the rules written in the book, but you will enjoy the well laid out pages.
I got my copy from Amazon which you can view by clicking here.
