On Thursday night I went with my mum to watch Mrs Brown's Boys at Hammersmith Apollo. My dad was meant to go with her, but he wasn't able to go. So I took his ticket.
I had watched Mrs Brown's Boys on the telly, and I had found the first two series really funny. The show was pretty amazing. My mum had gone to the first show of Mrs Brown's Boys also.
It is always nice to see something performed in front of you, and there were a lot of times the cast couldn't get their lines out due to their giggles.
Much nicer watching it on stage as you get the atmosphere... then again I do like lounging on the sofa in my pyjamas!!
At the end of the show Mrs Brown and the rest of the cast come on and there are a few speeches, and it is during this time that you are allowed to take photos.
The show was awesome, but Hammersmith Apollo itself could do with a make over. It always looks so nice when you see it on telly in programs like the Michael McIntyre comedy show. But if I'm honest, Hammersmith Apollo is actually a bit drab.
I am pretty sure there will be more shows in the future, so if any of you are interested keep an eye open as the tickets sell out fast; my mum purchased the tickets about a year ago. Have any of you guys seen it, and what did you think of it?
