nabotypography | Book Recommendation | Basics Design: Typography

nabotypography book recommendation.
Basics Design: Typography by Gavin Ambrose and Paul Harris is an excellent book based on everything typography related.

Basics Design: Typography can be purchased on Amazon. There are also a collection of other books by the same authors, and if you are a design euthasist then these will also be very useful to you. The other books are:

Basics Design: Format
Basics Design: Layout
Basics Design: Print and Finish
Basics Design: Colour
Basics Design: Grids
Basics Design: Image
Basics Design: Design Thinking

I haven't read all of the above books, but I have read the Layout one, and both the layout book and the typography book are very easy to read, and the text and images are displayed creatively and they are very easy on the eye.

All the books are compact, they are all around 200 pages or so.

The typography book is full of useful information. The book covers all the essentials of typography, and I would say this book is more aimed at "typography beginners". And it is a very good place to start as the information is clear and concise.
