Back From My Short Stay In Italy

In my previous post I mentioned that I was going to Italy to to visit a typography museum. I had the most amazing time, even though I only stayed for 4 nights.

This was the first time I have traveled abroad by myself. When I booked the trip I was scared and anxious about it, but being a solo traveler isn't really that scary.

I did want to fly from Heathrow airport as I live close by, but the flights were much more expensive than the flights at Gatwick airport.

Getting to and from Gatwick wasn't too bad. I decided upon getting a national express coach from Victoria coach station. Finding the coach station is easy enough but lugging a suitcase and hand luggage there made the 5 minute walk seem much much longer!

The type and printing museum I visited is called Tipoteca. It is located in a village called Cornuda which is in Veneto, in the province of Treviso.
I will do a fuller review of the museum, and I will post photographs that I took during my visit.

I stayed at hotel Villaguard landscape experience, located in Follina. The hotel is surrounded by green hills, and vineyards. The hotel is a family run business, and the people are so kind and lovely, and they made my stay amazing.

During my stay I visited Venice, and it is so so so beautiful there. There is a lot of walking required though, so I really recommend comfy shoes!
My next post will be on Tipoteca, the type and printing museum, and then I plan to follow that with a post about the areas I visited!
